Expert jury of the Euro Fashion Award 2018 gets together:
With projects in Paris, Basel and Shanghai, the fashion carousel never stops turning. But at the moment, all eyes are on Berlin where professionals, brands and fashion designers are meeting at Fashion Week. The new professional jury of the EURO FASHION AWARD has been using this time to sit down with the Creative Director, Irina Sowitzki, and sift through the many submitted portfolios and documents. The EURO FASHION AWARD is aimed at young, professional designers and offers candidates the opportunity to win prize money to the total of 60,000 euros. Submissions were received from 19 European countries and the first task for the new jury of three is to nominate the candidates who impress the most from both a professional and creative point of view. Those who are shortlisted will be given the opportunity to present their collections on 20 and 21 April at the Kaufhaus Görlitz department store. The names of the selected nominees will be announced this month. And without giving too much away: eleven designers are expected to be competing in the 2nd EURO FASHION AWARD and impressing the jury and audience: five ladies’ and five men’s collections, plus one mixed collection.
